During a visit to the doctor. My physician began to get serious with me about my health. I would constantly say,” I don’t have time to be sick, or I don’t have time for this. I have too much to do”. My doctor looked me in my eyes and said to me, “Do you have time to Die”. I knew then it was time to take control. I wanted to be around to watch my grandchildren drive my children crazy. My Physician suggested stripping everything away and starting from scratch. Staying away from as many processed foods as possible and making everything myself.  I began taking better care of myself, starting with paying attention to all things I put into my body. I love to cook and eat, however, I wanted to be able to enjoy the meals I prepared. I have always been a stickler for great flavor, so I took the time to make sure to blend the herbs and spices perfectly. From that, Stella Ruth (Lovingly named after my grandmother) was born.  Nothing artificial, all natural and made in small batches to protect the flavor and integrity of the product. I decided to do something she instilled in me. Showing love through the art of food. Stella Ruth takes pride in providing quality products that are good for you and good to you.
